Kaolin produced by this project has a particle size of about 2 microns and a whiteness of over 86, which is far superior to kaolin produced by traditional process and can be widely used in various high-end industries, especially in ceramics and glass ceramics industries.

Kaolin is one of the main raw materials of ceramics, accounting for 20%~30% of the raw materials of ceramics. China is the world's largest ceramic output of the country, building ceramics has reached 1.6 billion square meters, the annual demand for kaolin about 10 million tons.

Kaolin is widely used in dozens of industries such as papermaking, ceramics, rubber, chemical industry and coating, etc. In recent years, it has been widely used in some high-tech fields. Even the high-temperature resistant porcelain parts of atomic reactor, space shuttle and spacecraft can also be made of kaolin.

The Guidance Catalogue for Industrial Structure Adjustment (2011 edition) issued by the National Development and Reform Commission encourages the development of high-purity, ultra-fine, modified and other fine processed kaolin required by high-tech fields.
