Founded in July 2009, Technology Center in Shanxi Bright Kaolin Technology Corp. was certified as an enterprise technical center in Xinzhou. The Center has strong technical forces and has over 20 technicians, all holding college degree or above and five holding a Master’s Degree. Laboratory for Research, Development, Experiments and Testing in the Technology Center covers a land area of around 800 square meters.

The Technology Center has four laboratories namely Laboratory of Fundamental Technology, Laboratory of Technology, Laboratory of Application Technology and Laboratory of New Product Development. Laboratory of Fundamental Technology has advanced devices on chemical analysis that carry out analysis on chemical components of raw materials, coal elements, detection on calorific values of raw materials and other testing; Laboratory of Technology has such experimental devices as Japanese Shimadzu SKC-2000 granulometer, American Sedigraph 5120 particle size analyzer, pulverizer, delaminating machine, fluid energy milling grader, rotary kiln used for experiment, beater, stemer viscometer, PH meter, conductivity meter and so on that can entirely simulate the whole production and technological process of the production line. Its advanced devices and apparatuses would realize detection on process control data, production technique tracking and operation status of production devices and can provide technological guarantee and support for normal production operation; Laboratory of Application Technology owns such experimental devices as reflectivity detection instrument, scrubbing tester, high-speed dispersion machine, volume resistance machine, precise mill mixing machine, tabletting tester (vulcanizing machine), high-speed mixer, coating rapid dispersion ester, coating pollution-resistant tester, sheet-punching machine twin-screw mixing extruder, solution flowing current meter, softening point tester, tablet press, shock testing machine, gap model machine, mechanical tension tester, attrition meter and so on. It can carry out testing on such indicators as contrast ratio of coating, resistance against rinsing, resistance against pollution, resistance against cracking, dry cover, wet cover, lustrousness, dispersion fineness and so on; it can test indicators such as power volume resistance, surface resistance, product resistance, surface resistance of organic materials and can provide technical support following demands of clients; Laboratory of New Product Development has such experimental devices as specific surface area meter, horizontal sealed milling machine, airflow smashing grader, muffle, oven, whiteness meter, particle size analyzer, high-speed centrifuge and so forth that can research and develop new products following demands of leading-edge technologies.
