Britex-107 is one variety of calcined kaolin which is superficially modified by silane coupling agent. It has low impurity content, screen residue and good chemical stability. As a functional filler of nylon products, it improves mechanical properties, hydrophobicity and aging resistance of the nylon products effectively, especially dimensional stability, color purity and glossiness. It also can be used for thermoplasticity and thermosets such as PF, PET, epoxy resin, PBT, carbonate and could well modify the mechanical properties of resin such as flexural strength, compressive strength and shear strength. It also has excellent compatibility and easy to disperse when it used in polymer.
