DB-80 is a high brightness, fine particle size and high radius-thickness ratio calcined kaolin. It has moderate oil absorption, good matting effect and good opacity. As a good titanium dioxide extender, DB-80 incorporates readily into solvent-based and water-based coatings, where it replaces titanium dioxide partially and reduce production cost, provides excellent dry opacity and tinting strength for paint film.
