The masterbatch is mainly composed of pigments, carriers and additives. Titanium dioxide is one of the most commonly used pigments. Using calcined kaolin as extension agent of titanium dioxide has become a common practice in many systems. The main reason for this is that calcined kaolin has both low cost and excellent properties (e.g. easy color mixing, good dispersion, good chemical stability, non-discoloration, easy processing, etc.). The calcined kaolin produced by our company has become an ideal extension agent in pigments due to its high whiteness, fine particle size, high purity, good dispersity and good compatibility with carrier materials.
